Morning lads,

Firstly there doesn’t need to be any bitching about what’s gone on the past at the club. We can’t do anything about the last 7 games except put it right today! Even though the A’s are flying under Gareths and Kevin’s guidance we are all one club and we are only as strong as our 1st team which are bottom of the league. That is simply not good enough for a club like Nantyglo.
This fresh start means that everyone will be available for selection and if called upon to play you will give it your all no matter which squad your chosen for. I cannot stress how much it hurts to see our club in a mess like this….on and off the field. We as a club are the only people that can improve it. No one else to blame, no excuses, it’s our club!
6 points today for Nantyglo AFC will put us back on the road of salvaging this season. After reassessing the season’s goals we need to get off the bottom of the table and take it came by game. No point looking at how far we are behind, 1 game at a time, 11 v 11 and who wants it more. The potential in this squad is unreal and technically one of the best teams I’ve been involved in. A bit of nastiness and aggression will be required in every game lads, by any means possible we need points, football doesn’t have to be pretty, give me a long ball shitty 1-0 win anyday!
